It was quickly approaching nightfall, with Daius casting his last rays of warmth across the land as he descended towards his resting place. In the dying light of dusk, the great dragon had left her lair for one reason and one reason alone; to catch one of the elusive wisps that danced amid the forest trees. She had seen them before - in fact, she had one that regularly came to her as an amicable companion. However, she was not adept at actually catching them. Most of the time, in fact, her attempts left her snapping at thin air.
